Hillary Clinton email scandal deepens

The email controversy involving Hillary Clinton is sinking deeper and deeper. Records reveal that Hilary Clinton’s private server, ClintonEmail.com, shared an email IP address with her husband’s, PresidentClinton.com. Not only was her server at the same physical location as the email server used by the Clinton Foundation; it was on the same network as well.(1)

The PresidentClinton.com web address was handled by the Clinton Foundation in 2009 – the same time Hillary Clinton registered her ClintonEmail.com server. It was originally believed that the server was housed in Hillary Clinton’s basement in Chappaqua, New York. To the contrary, three separate databases reveal that the server(s) were housed in Midtown Manhattan – the same location of the Clinton Foundation.(1)

Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton shared the same IP address: 24.187.234.187. This suggests that the shared IP address was operating on the same network in the same physical space.(1)

Multiple employees at the Clinton Foundation used the PresidentClinton.com server for their personal email addresses, including their daughter Chelsea Clinton. In the event of a hack, the hacker would have had access to Hillary Clinton’s State Department emails.(1)

The former Secretary of State is now under federal investigation for violating the Espionage Act, which is a law pertaining to the “gathering, transmitting or losing defense information.”(2)

The revelation shows that people who did not have security clearance to classified information had access to Hillary Clinton’s server. Employees who used PresidentCinton.com email addresses included the former political adviser to Bill Clinton, Doug Bang, as well as Justin Cooper, who served as an an editor for Bill Clinton’s book My Life.

Hillary Clinton admitted to using her husband’s system at a March 2015 press conference because it has “numerous safe guards.” The frontrunner for the Democrat nomination for the 2016 presidential election has since acknowledged that using her private email address at her New York home was a mistake.(3)
