Most Americans who only get their news from “mainstream” sources believe that the so-called “whistleblower” whose complaint that President Trump acted improperly on a phone call with the president of Ukraine in July — kicking off Democrats’ “impeachment inquiry” — do not yet know this person’s name.
They don’t know, for example, that the person is a “he,” that he is well-known inside Washington, D.C., and whose name is the worst-kept secret inside the D.C. Beltway media.
In fact, he’s already been identified: His name is Eric Ciaramella, he’s 33 years old, and he was working in the White House as an Obama holdover on the National Security Council before he was thrown out by the Trump team for leaking.
Ace investigative reporter Paul Sperry named him in a story filed October 30 for Real Clear Investigations. But Sperry was onto him much sooner — three weeks earlier, when he identified the “Ukraine whistleblower” as a registered Democrat operative who worked on digging up political dirt on President Trump and Paul Manafort.
One America News’ Jack Prosobiec had his suspicions about the informant’s identity even before then (before Sperry named him).
Ciamarella?

So he’s known. He’s also not a “whistleblower” in the government sense of the word. So he’s not even deserving of anonymity, as true whistleblowers are.
But for some reason, social media behemoth Facebook has decided that his name must remain secret — out of the public’s eye — because…Facebook is staffed by Left-wing speech Nazis who are all-in for Democrats. (Related: Google running Orwellian project to secretly hoover up health records of millions of Americans across 21 states.)
And of course, Ciaramella is a Democrat foil so he must be ‘protected.’
Facebook is removing any mention of the potential whistleblower’s name and is cracking down against Facebook publishers that mention any allegation of the potential whistleblower’s name, claiming they are violating Facebook’s Community Standards and Policies.
For example, on Wednesday evening, Facebook removed Breitbart posts reporting on the fact other respected news outlets have reported the identity of the alleged whistleblower is Eric Ciaramella. Any Facebook user who attempts to click on that article on Facebook is now given a message that says,“this content isn’t available at the moment.”
The identity of Ciaramella isn’t even in question anymore. Every blessed media outlet worth anything knows who the guy is. They’ve known for weeks on end. They know everything about him, too — who he worked for, what political party he aligns with, his role in undermining President Trump.
Everything.
But unlike when the garbage media outs (doxes) Republicans and conservatives and Trump supporters, suddenly these same hypocrites want to pretend like they have consciences and are simply trying to ‘do the right thing.’
And to be clear, it’s not just “right-wing” media reporting on Ciaramella’s identity. Even Left-wing sites like HuffPo and magazines like New York Magazine have identified him, according to Breitbart. One — HuffPo contributor Yashar Ali — ID’ed Ciaramella in a tweet that has since been deleted.
“Ali claimed to have confirmed the identity with three sources. Facebook’s requirement to revise its policy on Ciaramella appears to already have been met,” Breitbart noted.
If this episode doesn’t prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Facebook and the other social media behemoths are marching lock-step with Democrats in terms of political objectives aimed at “getting” President Trump, then nothing will.
What else would motivate a multi-billion dollar corporation to act so quickly on a policy decision if it wasn’t political motivation — a heat of the moment, current-events kind of thing?
Nothing, of course. And let’s not kid ourselves; Congress wouldn’t act against Facebook in any event.
Still, this Stalinesque example of willing media self-censorship would have made our founding fathers wretch with disgust.
